General reports of high entry fees in some ports with several officials onboard with their hands out for "propinas".

New rules and regulations for Arrival and Departure makes is less expensive and easier to deal with the authorities. They still want "propina" but the real cost for a check in is 10 US p/p for a tourist card and 10 US for the boat.

Boca Chica Marina Zar Par

Inside Andres Bay, behind La Piedra Island, is a Marina called Zar-Par, all services for cruisers are available. Docks, electricity, water, laundry, local food, free wifi, and more.

Watch out for fishing nets on entry.

Port of entry.  If they don't come to the boat after waiting a while, go to the naval outpost on the hill.
