Adnams Brewery Southwold (Bar)
The Adnams Brewery makes the best beer in the world, easily. There are also some fantastic restaurants and a wine shop run by Adnams which make Southwold a must visit place.
The entrance is rather too interesting unless you enter/leave just before high water.

Ramsholt Arms Pub (Restaurant)
Even after all our travels, this is still the the best Pub/Restaurant you can visit by yacht. The food, the beer and the remoteness of the place make it very special.

The Best Fish and Chips in the world (Restaurant)
Just on the right as you reach the High Street is the very best Fish and Chip shop in the world. Be warned, the queue can take 45 minutes, it's that good!

www.eastcoastrivers.com It is a great trip up from the sea to Aldeburgh, on the way lots of history (Norman castle, the place radar was first used and lots of important WW2 sites)
